This project was implemented to provide economic opportunities for vulnerable women in Khndzoresk through training in traditional Armenian carpet-making skills. Four low-income women were trained in carpet production, laying the foundation for sustainable, small-scale carpet manufacturing while preserving authentic Armenian carpet-making techniques. The initiative also contributes to local economic development in this strategic border region.
To support the activity, the project provided essential resources. As a result, the trained women are now able to produce, promote, and develop their craft, creating income-generating opportunities for themselves and future participants.
