The Secondary School Renovation
Our 2021 & 2022 IWAY Christmas Bazaars allowed us to implement a significant amount of repairs at Anipemza’s Secondary School.
IWAY launched the renovation of the school facilities in November 2022. In all we replaced:
- The roof (420 sqm)
- The original 1932 windows of the gym on the first floor and in the classrooms on the second floor
This phase is expected to be completed by the end of Dec 2023 with currently available funds.
Armenia School Foundation (ASF) generously funded new desks and chairs, delivered in August 2023, just in time for the new school year.
More work and funding is needed, especially in light of the Artsakh families now joining the village. The school needs basic necessities, such as running water, heat and new educational books.
